"Baby About Town focuses on the idea that continual, repetitive exposure to diverse faces and voices and casual interaction with people outside the home are important in a young child's life. Friendly, non-threatening communication stimulates security and trust. While this age appropriate video does not encourage talking to strangers, it does foster skills for social and emotional stability which are integral facets leading to intellectual development.

"As a parent, I enjoyed watching Baby About Town with my eleven month-old son. He was especially interested in watching the close up shots of both adults and children, and hearing their voices. I also appreciated the multi-cultural, multi-generational aspect of the video. I think it is wonderful for children to be exposed to a variety of different cultures and age groups, starting from an early age.
